Indonesia’s diagnostic imaging market reached USD67 million in 2008

Clearstate’s tracking of diagnostic imaging devices markets in Indonesia reveals that the market reached USD67 million in 2008. According to Clearstate’s biannual tracking of demand trends in over 450 healthcare facilities across Indonesia, computed tomography is the largest diagnostic imaging segment in the country by value. Ultrasound, radiography (X-ray) and magnetic resonance imaging (MR) follow. Clearstate’s study found 240 CT units installed in Indonesia. There are over 3,000 units each installed of ultrasound and X-ray, counting conventional, digital, and mobile radiographies, as well as fluoroscopy, mammography and surgical C-arms.
